As to your choices, I’ve been thinking about this and realise there is a big difference between the books which I think have most influenced the world and those which have most influenced me.
I haven’t actually compiled either list but feel sure Plato, Paine, Hawking, Darwin, Aesop, and the Bible would feature in one if not both lists..
