Blogger Recognition Award

bloggerrecognition

Thank you Kirjavaras for nominating me for Blogger Recognition Award. I love doing these and hopefully now that I have finally graduated I will have more time for these ❤️

So…rules:

  1. Write a post to show your award
  2. Give a brief story of how your blog started.
  3. Give a piece of advice or two to new bloggers.
  4. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  5. Select up to 10 other blogs you want to give the award to.

Brief (and hopefully not boring) history of my blog:

In the beginning of 2014, I decided to take blogging course offered to us as free-choice course on our Campus. My awesome teacher (and awesome blogger) introduced us to blogging platform called WordPress. Our first assignment on this course was to come up with a good name for the blog and also to plan what would our blog be about. I knew that I wanted to write about books but to come up with a good, catchy name? And that’s how Read & Survive was born :D  My course ended years ago but my passion for blogging remained.

Advice

  • Just do your own thing and do whatever you like. Take pictures that you like, write long or short and don’t be too obsessed about what everyone else is doing. They are not you and it’s your blog :)
  • If you have a book blog, please create a page with all the reviews…It makes it easier to read your blog 🙈

My nominees

First of all I shall sneakily (shhhh) re-nominate Kirjavaras, I love her stylish in depth reviews…she writes in Finnish.
Bookheathen (who is awesome and has a great blog & and always shares interesting views about books he reads and reviews. Bookheathen’s right to read was also one of the first blogs I ever followed here when I first joined.)
Honya (who is awesome and has a great blog. She writes very fun short reviews that tell you everything you need to know, everything essential about the book/movie or even tv series)
Kainzow (gorgeous pictures & reviews)
Pauline von Dahl (writes in Finnish & English, you can tell by her blog that she really loves books + she has fun Instagram)
Sarah Higbee (awesome taste of books and wonderful reviews)

  1. Much appreciate your kind words and for the ‘nomination’. I’m not sure when or whether I’ll be able to respond as falling behind with other work (much due to a certain political event which I don’t really want to talk about here).
