“Based on the experience of my life, which I have not exactly hit out of the park, I tend to agree with that thing about, If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. And would go even further to: Even if it is broke, leave it alone, you’ll probably make it worse.”
― George Saunders, Tenth of December

I thought I’d do something new here on my blog so I decided to start participating at this weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer called The Sunday Post Meme where the point is to recap your week in books and in everything.

I only managed to read one book this week, however, there are many exciting titles looking at me from my shelf: Tenth of December by George Saunders, The Quantum Thief by Hannu Rajaniemi &  The Underground Girls of Kabul by Jenny Nordberg. My birth date is same as the title of the first book mentioned so I guess I had my own reasons for borrowing it from the local library.

Indeed, I only managed to read one book this week called: A Beautiful Math: John Nash, Game Theory, and the Modern Quest for a Code of Nature by Tom Siegfried.

Have you seen the movie Beautiful Mind? It’s one of my all-time favourite movies. Then in the library, I saw this book and I recalled that John Nash had recently passed away and was filled with such nostalgic feelings that I had to borrow this. I really enjoyed reading this. This book explains why the movie was called that way. Because his math was truly beautiful.

My personal life has been busy. This is my second week in a new job and in a new city. I moved to Helsinki which is the capital of Finland and as a small town girl,  I’m amazed by the vibrant city life. Since I moved here, I’ve been trying to go to one new place every day.

This week I went to HIM exhibition in Helsinki Art Museum (really love that band),  Rhododendron Park which was just like a small fairytale jungle filled with Rhododendrons of different colors and & also we had Finnish midsummer celebration with bonfires and summery atmosphere so it was a pretty good week.
