Down the TBR Hole #1

So I have been really wanting to do this meme but have no idea where it started from or who currently hosts it or what day of the week this is supposed to be done. Help me out, please? I think …. Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lia of Lost in a Story ?  Meanwhile, I am doing it anyway as I have over 200 books on my TBR.

Down The TBR Hole is a meme that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.…

It works like this:
1.Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
2.Order on ascending date added.
3.Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
4.Read the synopses of the books
5.Decide: keep it or should it go?

Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte… I think this is a keeper. I’ve lost interest I had for the classics but I have heard that she writes well so looking forward to getting to this one.

Fevre Dream

I don’t think I’m reading anything of him until he finally writes the one that we all been waiting for. Off it goes.

The Baker's Boy (Book of Words, #1)

I remember someone in here recommended this to me, however I read the synopsis and I wasn’t that interested by this. Off it goes.

Gardens of the Moon (Malazan Book of the Fallen, #1)

I mean this seems good but I don’t feel like getting into fantasy that’s not good. Is it worth the risk? I don’t know. Maybe it would be but not keeping this at the moment either. Off it goes.

The Chosen

More fantasy. Which is my favorite genre but uh not feeling this one. Off (with their heads).

The Darkness That Comes Before (The Prince of Nothing, #1)

This is an interesting one. I almost deleted it from my list and then I saw that author Mark Lawrence gave it quite a high rating. Hmm. A keeper.

Dragonflight (Dragonriders of Pern, #1)

More fantasy? Yes, you guessed right. I’ve heard that this is the best fantasies of dragons out there so keeping it.

The Lost Days (Emily the Strange Novels, #1)

Sorry Emily, you’re gonna go. I just feel like this is too much of a light read for me at the moment.

The Wolves of Willoughby Chase (The Wolves Chronicles, #1)

I feel like I’ve missed some sort of a cult classic by not reading this one. Should I? Also 50th anniversary?? Keeping it.

Black Hearts in Battersea (The Wolves Chronicles, #2)

Sooo… apparently I’ve been dumb enough to add series on my TBR list? Like why would I do that when I don’t even know if I will like the first book in the series? I think this will have to go for now.

Anything I should keep after all? Convince me otherwise? :D How is your TBR looking?
